Signboard War, Traffic Light Overgrowth and Dysfuntional Government

The pearl of the orient. The food paradise. Wat else?? Penang used to be a great place. Well, it is STILL a great place, just not as great. Penang distinctive feature used to be food. There is hawker stall everywhere, n i mean it.... EVERYWHERE. Nowadays, the only thing dat u can find anywhere here in penang is, signboard, promoting certain sumthing, or telling where u can get sumthing, or just a plain meaningless signboard. Whether big or small, it is just everywhere. In all shapes, n all sizes. Honestly, im beginning to wonder wad does dis signboard actually do, beside wasting space and being an eyesore dat is...

The 2nd things dat is appearing unnecessary all over penang is traffic light. It is ALMOST impossible to get through a straight stretch of road without being stop by another traffic light. I knoe i ve whining bout dis b4, but seriously, it sux. I mean it. U patiently wait for 1 traffic light to turn green, just to realise as soon as u move, there is another traffic light! N conveniently, dis 2nd traffic light, is RED!!! WTH IS DAT!!!!??? There is traffic light aparts every few meters. There is traffic light in a big junction. There is traffic light in tiny little junction. There is traffic light in the middle of a hill. For all u knoe, sooner or later, there will be traffic light in front of every houses!
